The second edition of our innovationHUB, held last Friday in the Madrid headquarters of our client and Event Partner EY, hosted the presentation of our 2017 Innovation Awards, recognizing companies that have stood out this last year for their open innovation programs.
Seguros Santalucía (ideas4all Innovation Award 2017), Banco Sabadell (Best Management Team and Outstanding Ideator), Santander City Council (Transformative Innovation Award), Zürich Seguros (Best Dynamization Campaign) and Grupo AIA (Best Use Case Award) were the prizewinners that concluded our innovationHUB.
In the following report, we run through the reasons for each award and all the highlights of the award ceremony.
innovationHUB brought together almost one hundred manager profiles, to discuss how current organizations deal with the challenge of creating and integrating an innovation ecosystem within their organization, made up of different living components that exchange efforts, ideas and knowledge in real time.
Through the success stories of great companies like EY, Banco Sabadell, Calidad Pascual, KPMG or Alain Afflelou, attendants discovered how companies in different sectors share their commitment to open innovation, and how they ask their different stakeholders about the challenges they face as part of their transformation process.
The event was complemented by a round table on the role of people within this ecosystem, and a discussion between Marieta del Rivero, Regina Llopis and Gema Igual, Mayor of Santander, regarding how today’s Smart Cities can evolve and innovate towards a model for cities that is smarter, more sustainable and participatory.
